IN PHOTOS: The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) CALABARZON rolled out its second Mainstreaming and Orientation of Philippine Fisheries and Coastal Resiliency (FishCoRe) Project in Tagaytay City last February 22, 2024.

The meeting aims to deliberate the Indicative Key Activities and Projects under Fisheries and Coastal Resilient Resource Planning and Management (FishCRMM) and Modern and Resilient Livelihood Investment (MARLIN).

FishCRMM improves FMA governance by implementing climate-resilient planning to recover fishery resources and build ecosystem resilience, whereas MARLIN seeks to raise the value of fisheries output via investments in livelihood enterprises, technology, infrastructure, and support services.
