Issuance of Local Transport Permit (LTP) for Regularly Transported Fish/Commodity

The Local Transport Permit (LTP) for the domestic movement of fish species or commodities provides documented proof that the product complies with Sanitary and Phytosanitary (SPS) standards, food safety regulations, aquatic wildlife conservation laws, and other relevant fisheries legislation. It serves as a traceability document for commodities from their point of origin. It is an important risk management tool that allows supply chain members to quickly identify issues and promptly share this information with the affected parties.
