Bacoor, Cavite — In line with the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. and under the supervision of the Presidential Communications Office (PCO), BFAR CALABARZON (BFAR IV-A) actively participated in the nationwide activity “Pasko sa Baybayin: Holiday Salu-salo with Farmers and Fisherfolk” held on December 12, 2025 in Bacoor, Cavite, led by Regional Director Sammy A. Malvas.
The celebration, also held in various parts of the country, aims to honor the dedication of farmers and fisherfolk in sustaining food supply and supporting food security during the holiday season.
During the program, RD Malvas personally expressed heartfelt gratitude to the farmers and fisherfolk for their tireless commitment to their livelihoods. BFAR CALABARZON presented simple gifts, organized games, and held a festive meal, fostering the spirit of bayanihan and community unity.
The gathering served not only as a Christmas celebration but also as a recognition of the vital contributions of agricultural and fishing workers to national development—an acknowledgment aligned with the government’s broader commitment to the agriculture and fisheries sectors. (/mrcamilon)
